Visited the site in sept after quite a wet summer, so I wasn't expecting nice conditions! but I needn't have worried. The place was lovely and dry, it helped that the weather was warm to!

Had a fab stay, spent 4 days there and made friends with some other holidaymakers, and we all joined up in the local pub, great way to break the ice

Tenby town was just a short train ride away, (the station is just at the bottom of the field I was staying in),

Great facilities at the site which seem to improve every time I go, hot showers and clean toilets with plenty of loo paper, what more do you need!

Theres a great garden centre opposite which serves a wicked brekkie, and the village pub is homely and welcoming,

If I have 1 complaint? its there's no shelf in the toilet block. To put your toilet bag

But all in all its a great site and 1 I wholeheartedly recommend

Our Reply: Thank you for your kind words. Its was really nice to see you and some of our other guests get together and have a lovely time. Hope you and your new friends make it back to us for another relaxing break at "Buttyland".

Just returned home from our clubs two week holiday rally, I was the rally officer for our two week stay on Buttyland and from arrival to departure you could not wish for better hosts, Nothing was too much trouble for them to the point that they would drop what they were doing to help you, We had a great two weeks holiday in a lovely location.

It's a smashing site with a bus stop at one end of the lane and a train station at the other both with a 100yrds or so, The garden centre situated opposite is well worth a visit and the cafe does fantastic food, with that and the chip van situated at the campsite entrance we were well feed and only lit the bbq twice!

Our two kids loved it, Football goalposts in a large open area, games room with pool table and arcade machines and a grabber machine that must need refilling now as most of the soft toys in it are now back home with us :-)

The on site WIFI provided good coverage and was really handy for surfing from the comfort of our caravan.

We will be going back, Loved it - Paul, Joanne, Liam & Katie

Our Reply: Thanks to you and your family for your kind words. Your friends at "Buttyland" are missing you all very much. Really glad you took advantage of the new on-site Wi-Fi, this is new this season and working a treat thoughout the whole park. Pass our regards on to the ARCC Caravan Rally and hopefully see you again soon.

I enjoyed my stay here. There were problems with the facilities as described already. The hot water tap for the shower just needs a strap to keep it on while you're showering *wink* . I was lost for somewhere to put my razor and shower gel - definitely needs a small simple shelf in there. Yup, that's my only complaint! If you want luxury get a hotel, if you want basic facilities at a reasonable price, this place is just fine.

Our Reply : We are delighted you had a great stay at "Buttyland". We shall install some little shelfs for your shower gel soon!! Thanks again

We love this site, as it is nice and big for the kids to play in. It is also nice and quiet and close to the beach.
There are a few small downsides though, the showers are always cold and there is nowhere to hang your clothes up so they don't get wet. Also the electric keeps tripping if you have more than a fridge on.
I have heard that he is upgrading the electric and adding more points which will be a bonus.
Other than that all I can say is this is a nice site to go visit for families as its price is reasonable and there is a big space for the kids to play.

Our Reply : We are pleased to say that we have upgraded our electrics. The new three phase supply is working well. We have placed some shelving units in the showers for your clothes, and just installed a new boiler for the showers - just remember boilers take time to re heat.

We are glad you had a nice time, at the right price, and your family had the space to play and enjoyed all our park has to offer.

I arrived at the site on 0ct 20 to spend 5 nigts, and it was raining heavily, however the owner was very friendly and even offered me a lift into Manorbier village, where I was able to dry off and get a lovely evening meal.

The site was clean, and empty just how I like it! Yes the facilities were basic (however the showers were fantastic!) you don't go to a campsite for £12 a night and expect the Ritz! I had a great time and can't wait to go back, I had a lovely time there

Me the Wife and Max the dog have just returned from a week camping at Buttyland. It was a great site nice and peaceful at night. The owners are very friendly and always seemed to be on the go. It was a bit muddy but if you can control the weather then please do so as I am sure a lot of people would appreciate that. A lot of the sites in the area had closed due to the bad weather they had had but Buttyland stayed open and we managed and the owner put hay down to try and help keep the mud at bay. Toilets were always cleaned and kept clean which with the weather would of been a task itself. The shower cubicles were small but I managed and the water was always hot(the showers are free), I didn't find any problem getting a shower but if it had been busier there may of been so work out the best time to go for yourself. There is a games room with a pool table and a couple of slot machines,(more money spent. There is a shop within a few minutes drive and only about 5 miles from Tenby and there are plenty of things to do in the area for all ages from a open farm to theme parks and walks.

All in all we enjoyed Buttyland and hope to visit there again next year what ever the weather we still enjoyed ourselves well worth the price.

Buttyland campsite was brill, toilets and showers were clean. They were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that we had to wash football kit and the dryer was not working, but I dare say next time we visit it will be. The football area was a big hit with our boys. The surrounding area was good as we had a bunch of 14year olds and we could keep and eye on them. Hope to go back next year as it was a good site situated centrally for our needs

Spent a lovely 2 weeks camping here. Camping field is large with many water points, so never had to walk far to get water. There aren't loads of outside lights, which meant we could see the stars every night. Owners are relaxed, very friendly and helpful, to the extent of allowing my partner to download & print a job application form on their PC/printer and faxing the completed application using their fax. They don't tolerate noise after 10pm. Owners are fairly new to site, but are making some upgrades. There are 2 washing machines on site and a freezer - both of which we used - washing machines were £1 a go and the freezer £2 pw - well worth it.

Manorbier railway station is less than 5 minutes walk away, and although the trains only run every 2 hours, we got organised and used them! The local buses stop a 5 minute walk from campsite and we used those to, as we didn't have the car with us.

Opposite the site is a garden centre which does proper coffee, scrumptious cakes and a good Sunday lunch (we're veggies and they happily catered for us).

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay and will definitely be returning.
